"I think it's an awesome gift, and very thoughtful," Daphne corrected with a smile. "And yeah, it's our sort of party, too." She pointed to the food. "I made the rice and the shrimp, and Bay made the ground beef, since I'm vegetarian." She headed for the kitchen, finding a safe spot for the bamboo on the counter for now, until she could figure out where it would live permanently.
